Introducing Orland

Idle hands are the work of the devil, or so we were told by my mom, and yet, we still find time to get up to no good dirty trouble. 

A couple of weeks ago, Drasko Bogdanovic (our amazingly talented photofriend) and the boys over here at BLEW, got together with the quirky and adorable model Orland for a photo shoot early in the wee hours of the morning (before noon). We have been sitting on this little gem (not literally, although we kind of wish), getting all of the editing done and humming and hawwing over which ones to use. After much discussion, we have narrowed it down to a tight little package of photos that we think capture both the model, and a certain esthetic.

Drasko also has been a busy little beaver, working as the new photographer for FAB magazine doing the  FAB GUY section for the magazine, and working on his beautifully revamped web site. If you haven't checked it out already, do so, its much cleaner and easy to navigate, and the hot naked guys don't hurt the ol eyes too much either. He is going to be in an upcoming show in the US and was also just interviewed by Charmants.com of Montreal. Fantastic work Drasko!

Hunterlicious; or Sexy Sam Scott Schiavo makes us want to climb in the shower

Well, the long weekend is over, and its back to the grind for us here at BLEW magazine. With massive wine and vodka hangovers softly fading and the distant but tangible memories of dirty drunken cottage bum sex still freshly tingling in our minds, we reach down, grab a hand full of ourselves and pull ourselves into the present.

We have been sitting on this post all weekend, patiently trying to perfect it, and we think its finally ready to be released all over your faces. The amazingly talented and incredibly sexy Sam Scott Schiavo , who happens to be one of our all time favorite photographers, has been working his magic for us all the way over in the beautiful city of Milan, Italy. This American born photographer from Philadelphia is pure sex on a stick, and his eye for beauty is unparalleled. His images are saturated with the emotions of old cinema and film noir, evoking strong but subtle stories within each frame.

His history is grounded in a variety of past adventures and occupations that have helped to create a relaxed yet bold take on the world of beauty around him. From pizza maker, bar man, lighting designer, actor and model, turned photographer, we tingle all over thinking of him tossing our dough in the air. His editorial work speaks for itself, contributing to some of amazing magazines, including Fantasticmag and The Room.

Sam sent us a set of photos he took of the amazingly hot daddy model Hunter, who he works with regularly, that we are are posting here today. If you like what you see, then you will be dripping with anticipation for the set of photos he has done that will only be available in the printed edition of BLEW magazine coming out this summer.

Mustache Fridays !

We are all in a great mood over here at BLEW Magazine, and it is Friday after all, so we thought we would spread the joy. How you may ask? (no, it doesn't involve us dolling out free hand jobs in the alley...although....no, nevermind) We plan to spread the joy instead by posting a sneak peek at one of the photos from our most recent photo shoot, taken by the amazingly talented photographer Mckenzie James, featuring a local model Alexx (who spells his name with 2 x's which is kinda fucking adorable, and who we all have a super big crush on). We are still slaving away, poring over endless photos from the shoot and from readers, but we couldn't resist posting one of our favorites so far. 

If anyone has something interesting to contribute, ideas, suggestions, things you want to see (other than Sybrant naked obviously), events coming up, people you think are fantastic and we should meet, fantastic naked self pics, or you just want to say hi, send us an e-mail by clicking the " e-mail Blew Magazine" link on the right. Meet Dominic, our newest addition to the team of contributors and models at our lovely little homo magazine BLEW. You can thank Tristan, our very first and fantastic ginger model, who introduced us to him, and who is also, very good buddies with him. Both of these beautiful men live in the fantastic city of Montreal, where BLEW will be visiting very soon, to scout out some more of that great hot talent that Canada has an abundance of. Talk about natural resources. 

Heres what he had to say about himself:

"I guess the best way to describe me is that im a guy, who is happy to be a guy, who happens to like other guys. I love the outdoors, i love sports [ high school swim team ! ] and i go to the gym basicly 5 times a week. I love the feeling i get after anything athletic. and theres the masculine aspect of it that drives me wild too, ha ha ha. When it comes to music, im a lesbian, i love my folk: sarah harmer, patty griffin, joanna newsome, beth orton, tegan & sara, damien rice, etc. I am a HUGE hopeless romantic, havent found my man yet but i know it will happen someday. cant rush these things haha. I came out to everyone at 15 and just wanted to be someone other gay guys could look up to you know. A sort of hey you can be gay and happy and normal too kind of thing. I was one of the first in my highschool, and it whent surprisingly well."

You can't keep a hot ginger down

We are back from abroad, and hitting the pavement running. We have been working our gay little fingers to the bone over here at the magazine, trying to play catchup from almost 3 weeks of drinking 1 euro beer in the sunny streets and getting into all sorts of bad boy trouble in Europe. Its a good think we brought all those cute undies with us, we sure needed them. I have all sorts of dirty stories, but you will have to get me drunk to get those out of me.

Now some news on the magazine. We have been working on getting the photos from our very first photo shoot from Montreal sorted through, edited, and organized. The fantastic photographer Riki N and our hot hot broken but still very dexterous ginger model Tristan (who is once again fully mobile and sans cast) have been working long, hard and sweaty hours over at their Montreal studio to bring us some great photos for our very first issue of Blew Magazine. Im very excited to have them working as contributors to the magazine and bringing their talent and beauty to my little project. There is more in the works for when the weather gets warmer, so keep checking back for more hot ginger fun from Riki and Tristan.

Things are rolling along rather quickly over here at BLEW Magazine. We are all pretty excited to shoot our first ever photos this Sunday in Montreal with the beautiful 26 year old homo model/artist Tristan, and the fantastic photographer Riki Ndinga Oba. Take a look at some of the photos Tristan and Riki sent from previous photo shoots they have done together. This should  give you a good idea at what we have up our sleeve for the first issue.

These two hot homos are rising stars on the gay art scene, with more talent than will fit into a pair of tighty whities (and trust us, we know). Their work speaks for itself. We have added Riki's link to the "Fantastic" list so feel free to check out some of his photos he's done for other shoots and magazines. There is even a whole section for our beautiful ginger homo, Tristan, so take a look through and see what you think.

Tristan has promised to do anything and everything we ask for the photo shoot, as long as he doesn't end up bleeding or in the hospital (again...). We told him we will be gentile with him, as he is already in a leg cast. How did he end up with a broken leg....well, thats something you will have to ask him yourself (we promised not to tell). If you really want to know though, then stay tuned for a fantastic interview with both Tristan and Riki, coming this week.
