Glam Bam Thank You Mam - "Shoot Your Slut" magazine packs quite the gender bending punch

Hold on to your nipple clamps boys and girls, and get ready as we dig deep into the tickle trunk for something a little less ordinary, and a whole lot of fabulous. We popped down to our mail box the other day to find a lovely package had arrived for us, all the way from Belgium (we were hoping it was the mail order boyfriend one of our staff had sent away for last month, but alass....no). Instead, inside was a copy of the premier issue for a new and boundary pushing comic styled magazine called "Shoot Your Slut". Now right away, we could tell this was not going to be your average kind of magazine, and boy were we correct.

Produced by the mind blowingly skilled artist Piepke and the amazing D. Von Sleeze, this glam bam thank you mam extravaganza of make up, glitter and costumes gives us a peek into the lives of some of the hottest and most creative performance artists/club kids from around the globe. This graphic styled comic is full of color, controversy and witty humor, taking risks at every page turned. With club celebrities such as Kenny Kenny , Tasty Tim  and Gazelle (producer of the brilliant Gazelland Magazine) gracing the premier issue with their stories, all intermingled with the gender bending art of Piepke, this magazine is a veritable who's who in celebrity club kid land. Theres also a fantastic interview with Jette Mansfield, producer of the new and fucking amazing "Lube Magazine" and visual/graphic/photographic artist who we will be featuring next on BLEW.

Breaking down the walls of gender, sexuality and art, these kids are pioneering the future for boys and girls around the globe who don't fit into the conventional boxes of society. We all know how it feels to be typecast, judged, stereotyped and labeled by society at one point or another, and we know how repressive it can be. We love creativity and beauty in all of its forms, and we love the work of these great artists who continue to stand up for creativity in the face of conventionality and normalcy.

With 3 more planned installments to come featuring 9 other creatives from "The Royal Freak Chic Household", we hope they continue on creating explosive works of boundary pushing art for us weirdos out there.

  1. I'm sorry but these look like those old pictures of the kids with the BIG EYES and sad clowns! While the concept of "breaking down the barriers between the sexs etc" may be all well and good, as art I find it bad and less than impressive.
